MECHANICSVILLE, MARYLAND (April 4, 2018) – Maryland International Raceway™ (MDIR) proudly announces it has added an additional track prep tractor with rotating tire drag and power broom for use during the 2018 season and beyond. This new equipment is in addition to all of MDIR’s existing track prep equipment.

MDIR is already known as one of the best in the business with track prep and clean-up, but this will make clean-ups and track prep two to three times faster than ever before.

MDIR will be in need of racing slicks that are 15 inches wide or wider, fit on a 16 inch rim and be un-punctured/uncut. Also, if you have 15" or wider slicks (we can also use 33" x 10.5W) that you are finished using, please remember that MDIR will always take them so we can put them to use on our existing tire drag we will continue to utilize. If you have either or both of these that you are finished using, please remember that MDIR will always take them. Just bring them to MDIR and leave them in your pit area and we will be happy to pick them up from you. No need to wait to be asked or hear the request over the P.A. - we can use them year round. If you are attending an upcoming event, please bring them along and we will put them to good use in '18!
